What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you? It’s all about his schtick and being vile solely to have material for his book. Hilarity did not ensue Adolescent humor that felt like the same story over and over; got drunk got laid.
Let me hilarkty that though.
There is a lot of insults towards But enough about that. Basically what I expected from Tucker Max, no more, no less. Reading through Tucker Max’s trilogy was a useful learning experience for me.
Hilarity Ensues is the final book written by Tucker Max in his trilogy of debauchery. I think he insulted every etnisity he came across. Despite all the insults towards TheMissWhatherface, hklarity was interesting and I get why it pissed him off as much as it did.
I hope he finds what he’s looking for, and finds success with writing that’s not ‘fratire’ as he calls his stories. Not that I didn’t expect narcissism, I just didn’t expect it so blatantly in his style of writing. That is my true passion.
I subscribe to some of his tactics that doesn’t mean I employ them Not as good as the first one, and it appears as though he’s tuckee too ensurs now. The stories aren’t nearly as encapsulating as they were in I Hope They Serve Beer in Hellbut the updated story about Miss Vermont is worth the price on the back cover though. My husband and I sit around reading his books on our down time and try not to die laughing!!!
BS that is somewhat entertaining. Celebrate by getting more drunk and having insane amounts of sex, obviously. Still funny, still kinda believable or not. While the first book “I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell” has my all-time favorite story which is him running through a Best Western Hotel lobby, crapping himself and was my introduction to the Tucker Max phenomenon, this one had more self-awareness than ever, and a poignant ending.
The postscript, in which Tucker “retires” from fratire is touching in its own way, mainly in that he says that it isn’t “who I am anymore” and thus he’s moving on to the next phase of his authorial career–looking forwards instead of backwards.

The sexting chapters were lame. As a thank you to those who have loved the stories and supported him for so long, Tucker has gone back through his massive archive of material one last time, culled out what you might call the “best of the rest” and arranged it here, in Sloppy Secondslike an audiobook version of deleted scenes.

The book is mostly short stories except for the Dangerous Catch story; I enjoyed this one since I watch the show but Emily felt that it was too long and since she doesn’t watch the show didn’t enjoy Not much different than “I Hope they Serve Beer in Hell” and “Assholes Finish First”, so you can refer to those reviews as well to get an understanding of this book.

Tucker Max 3 books. I get why though, they are a though bunch of guys. For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare – poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights.
